Terms and Policies

RESERVATION POLICIES:

Before engaging in private coaching or booking me for a speaking engagement, it is necessary to have a virtual Zoom consultation. If you have any inquiries or concerns, please feel free to email DrPolkLCSW@shaylapolk.com before scheduling the consultation.

PAYMENT POLICY:

Full payment is required before the service is provided. I accept credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal as forms of payment. Please note that I do not accept insurance for payment.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Clients have the flexibility to cancel or reschedule appointments at any time, as long as they give a minimum of 48 hours' notice. In the event of a cancellation made with less than 48 hours' notice or a failure to show up, the client will forfeit the amount paid for the appointment. Moreover, they will not be able to reschedule the appointment or receive credit for it.

To cancel your appointment, you have the option to either call or email me. However, please be aware that if you arrive(via zoom) more than 10 minutes late to your scheduled appointment, it will be considered a late cancellation, resulting in the forfeiture of the fee paid for the appointment. I strictly adhere to this policy without any exceptions.

SESSIONS:

Please note that classes, webinars, and workshops offered by me are considered non-refundable. I am unable to make any accommodations or exceptions in this regard. If you wish to cancel your participation, you may do so by calling or emailing, or using my scheduling portal. Any other methods of cancellation will not be accepted. It is important to mention that a consultation is not required before registering for a class, as all my classes are open to the public.

All virtual sessions are conducted through Zoom. Prior to your scheduled session or class, please ensure that you have downloaded the Zoom app. You can find the Zoom invitation in your calendar invite or email.
